Future Residents & Family

The first step to becoming a resident of an Arveda facility is to visit and meet the staff.

We strongly encourage prospective residents of our facilities or their families to call and set up an appointment for a tour. An appointment ensures that the staff are available for as long as you need them to answer whatever questions you may have about the services provided to you or a loved one. However, appointments to tour the general assisted living communities are not required, only encouraged.

If you are looking for services in one of the Alzheimer's Certified homes we do require an appointment for a tour. We discourage drop-in tours because the residents who reside there find it difficult if too many new faces are introduced into their home throughout the day. We consider these facilities to be their home and we do our best to treat the home as their private living space.  We limit the number of tours through the facility to no more than two per day. This practice is best for the residents.

While visiting the facility you will meet with a facility representative who will provide you with information about the support services that are offered at the community. You will be provided with admission criteria and information that will assist you in the selection process. Depending on which community you are interested in, the admission criteria may be different for each facility.

We have compiled a list of questions that may help you during the selection process. We encourage you to use the list at each community you visit. We understand that the selection process can be difficult and you will be given a great deal of information all at once, which makes it difficult to discern how communities may differ from each other.

We feel it is our responsibility to assist families to make the best decision possible in selecting a community that will best meet their own needs or the needs of a loved one.

Correspondingly, you have Arveda's commitment to inform you truthfully if we will not be able to meet all of your needs or your loved ones' needs. It is our ethical responsibility not to accept a resident if we are unable to appropriately care for the person's needs. Doing so would be an injustice to the resident and, simply stated, a safety risk to them as well.

We look forward to assisting you in the future.

Please call us today at 512-637-5400 to setup an appointment with a facility representative. We are very proud of the services we provide and we want to help you as much as possible.
